The introduction of the foot valve

The foot valve, also known as the check valve, is a low-pressure flat valve. Its function is to ensure the one-way flow of liquid in the suction pipe and make the pump work normally. When the pump stops working for a short time, the liquid cannot return to the water source tank, so as to ensure that the suction pipe is full of liquid, so as to facilitate the start of the pump.

According to the material, the foot valve can be divided into plastic foot valve and metal foot valve, as well as ordinary bottom valve and bottom valve with backwashing water flow.

The foot valve is mainly used for mechanical equipment such as water pump to treat slurry. Usually, the bottom valve will be installed at the bottom of the underwater suction pipe of the water pump to prevent slurry backflow
